Accountable Care Organization

Gateway Medical Associates is excited to be part of the Pioneer ACO program. This is a new program sponsored by the Center for Medicare Services for people with Medicare. We are participating in this through Renaissance Medical Management Company (RMMC), a doctor owned company that we have been involved with for over ten years. RMMC is one of only thirty two organizations nationally to have been chosen to participate, so this is quite an honor for us. Through the Pioneer ACO program, we will have additional programs and staff available to us to be sure our Medicare patients get high quality and well coordinated care. There is no cost for patients to participate, and there are no restrictions whatsoever on where patients receive their care. We think this is a great addition to our practice and lets us continue to be leaders nationally in giving our patients great care.
