Cara O'Shaughnessey, DO
Gateway Endocrinology Associates
Dr. O'Shaughnessey, a Diabetologist and board certified Internist, joined Gateway Endocrinology Associates in November 2011. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. She then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Mercy Suburban Hospital and a fellowship in Diabetes at Ohio University. Her interests include diabetes, pre-diabetes, gestational diabetes, metabolic syndrome, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and hypoglycemia.
Dr. O'Shaughnessey, known as "Dr. O," currently resides with her husband in Chester Springs, PA. She sees patients at both the West Chester and Coatesville locations.
